Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Geology; or Geology with Chemistry; or Geology with Mathematics; or Geology and Physics; or Petroleum Geosciences; or any related field from a recognized University / Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Geologist (Reservoir) for performing the following duties:-
– Participating in reservoir modelling, estimation and development studies;
– Interpreting geological data and construction of geological models to ensure accurate simulation of reservoir;
– Participating in reservoir description/ modelling and Resource Assessment;
– Calculating recoverable hydrocarbon in place, optimizing field Development and Reservoir management programs;
– Evaluating and managing geological data submitted by oil companies;
– Reviewing submitted Field Development Plans and Petroleum Reservoir Reports before production licences are issued;
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
