Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans in Possession of an Honours Bachelor’ Science Degree in either Engineering or Physical Sciences from a recognised Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the ior Energy Officer (Wind and Micro Hydro Projects) for performing the following duties:-
– Routine data collection from the wind measuring equipment.
– Participate in designing projects related to wind, micro-hydro and geothermal for various communities and render the necessary advice.
– Identify micro hydro potential sites and package them for development.
– Conduct field activities and quarterly reports on wind/micro/Picto-hydro and geothermal energy.
– Set up demonstration systems on wind energy systems, micro/Picto hydro systems and geothermal systems.
– Conduct filed research to establish the potential, demands, and installed capacities of wind and micro hydro energy systems annually.
– Identify and mobilizing the stakeholders in wind and micro hydro energy systems for easy monitoring and capacity building.
– Provide technical support to installed wind energy and micro energy systems.
– Conduct technology transfer training for wind and micro hydro power systems.
