The Infectious Diseases Research Collaboration (IDRC) seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the
position of Pharmacy Technician for the Drug studies/Vaccine Trial to be based in Tororo.
The Successful candidate will be reporting to the Study Pharmacist.
Job description:
• Preparation of study investigational product
• Identification and picking treatment kits after randomization
• Ensuring daily recording of temperature of the pharmacy
• Reporting of any temperature excursion
• Updating study drug accountability sheets
• Updating non concomitant medication accountability sheets
• Dispensing concomitant medication to study participant
Qualifications and other desirables for the job:
• Diploma in pharmacy
• Registered by allied health
• Clinical trial work experience
• Computer skills is an added advantage
• Experience working in a research setting
