Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry; or Chemical Engineering from a recognized University / Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the enior Petroleum Officer (Instrument and Measurement) for performing the following duties:-
– Collecting data necessary for evaluation of designs installations and commissioning of new crude oil refining units;
– Ensuring that crude oil assay and refined products analyses are done;
– Preparing, packaging and disseminating information to promote investment in refining;
– Participating in development of standards and guidelines for Midstream petroleum operations;
– Participating in preparations of workplans, budgets and reports;
– Participating in preliminary activities leading to licensing process;
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
