Reporting to: Senior Manager-Sales

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

 

To execute strategy, policies and procedures for the management of regional Mobile Money sales and achieve set performance targets

 

Main Job Functions:

 

  • Manage both the Payment merchant acquisition (agents) and Collection Merchant acquisition
  • Take charge of the MM Subscriber acquisition including KYC sourcing
  • Ensure high standard Customer service at all indirect MM touch points (subscriber, agents, merchants, partners) across the region
  • On ground channel management (agent network supervision)
  • Keep employee-retention and motivation levels high through regular reviews of performance of RMMCs and retailers
  • Oversee Liquidity planning (including rebalancing point) and ensure liquidity levels and availability in the region are maintained above set criteria.
  • Execute and monitor Retail branding and visibility in the allocated region and ensure that high standards are maintained.
  • KYC delivery to collection points
  • Ensure MTN Mobile Money trade channel remains a competitive advantage in terms of depth, breadth, customer experience and branding

  • Ensure that short and long-term business plans meet Corporate visions.
  • Ensure growth and development of the Company’s retail channel
  • Ensure that national sales objectives are met
  • Ensure that there is sustained Retail sales growth of MTN Mobile Money products.
  • Ensure that MM Agents are motivated and operate their businesses efficiently.
  • Ensure set market penetration targets are achieved in regions
  • New routes to markets are established as per Channel Strategy

 

Qualifications

 Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

 

 

 

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration

 

 

Experience:

  • 4-5 years’ experience in a dealer Management function.

 

 

Competencies:

 

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Financial procedures, procurement procedures etc.
  • Retail / Dealer environment setting
  • Dealer structure methodologies

 

 

Behavioral Qualities

  • Team Player.
  • Results- Oriented.
  • Positive, outward looking disposition
  • Objectivity
