Graduate Trainee – Legal & Board Affairs

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on various matters, including regulations, case laws, and legal precedents.
  • Document Review: Assist in the review and preparation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Compliance: Support the compliance team in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Board Meetings: Participate in the preparation and documentation of board meetings and assist in the implementation of decisions taken during these meetings.
  • Corporate Governance: Gain insights into corporate governance practices and procedures and assist in maintaining compliance.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
  • Assist Legal Team: Collaborate with senior legal professionals on various legal matters and cases.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
  • A Diploma in Legal Practice from LDC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the legal and board affairs field.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration.
