Job Title : Finance Officer
Reports to : Head, Treasury Unit
Key Result Areas:
- Petty cash float maintenance
- Undertake collection and receipting
- Handle banking transactions
- Process payments
- Issue tax invoices
- Carryout reconciliations and produce reports in line with treasury procedures
Minimum qualifications and competence requirement
- Graduate of Commerce, Economics, Accounts, Finance or Business Administration with accounting or Finance as a major.
- Registration with Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Uganda.
- Must be knowledgeable in accounting concepts, conventions and standards.
- Knowledge of Uganda Tax laws.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft applications and ERP system.
- Self-driven, innovative and able to work long hours under minimum supervision.
- Verifiable high degree of integrity.
- Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills.
- At least one year experience in a similar role.
