The Uganda Country Coordinating Mechanism (Uganda CCM) is the Board at country level that mobilizes resources and oversees the implementation of the Global Fund supported programmes in Ugandato ensure that the approved funds are used for the intended purpose; and that the services and commodities funded with Global Fund grants are provided to the intended beneficiaries.The Uganda CCM Board is technically supported by a Secretariat to enable it to meet its objectives,exercise its mandate and fulfil its oversight function.
The Uganda CCM seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, highly skilled, experienced and motivated person to fill this position at the Uganda CCM Secretariat.
TECHNICAL ADVISOR FINANCE &PROCUREMENT – 1 position
REPORTS TO: CCM Secretariat Coordinator/ Executive Secretary
DUTY STATION – KAMPALA
The position will be responsible for the Global Fund Grants’ Finance & Procurement Oversight Activities, management of the Finance, Administration & Procurement functions in the CCM Secretariat operations and Supervision of assigned staff (Technical Assistants, Interns, Volunteers and Consultants).
The position will support the CCM in the coordination and maintenance of a functional oversight system for monitoring the Principal Recipients (PRs) and grant implementation
activities.
