Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Geology and Chemistry; or Geochemistry with a bias in Mineral exploration from a recognized University / Institution.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Geochemist for performing the following duties:-
– Carrying out geochemical investigations and preparing geochemical maps and technical reports for publication;
– Carrying out preparation and maintenance of an updated database on geochemical exploration;
– Interpreting geochemical surveys data;
– Supervising and appraising junior officers;
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
