Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and support the review and update of the procurement and disposal policies and procedures manual.
- Consolidate and upload the Bureau’s procurement plan on to the government portal system and maintain.
- Conduct market research and maintain a schedule of prevailing prices.
- Prepare advertisements of bid opportunities and liaise with the media houses to run the adverts.
- Issue bidding documents, receive and register bids and keep records of submission.
- Attend to inquiries from bidders/ suppliers.
- Prepare communication circulars to notify bidders of the outcome of the bidding process.
- Prepares LPOs, keep a record on the system and issue to service providers in a timely manner.
- Liaise with suppliers and users to ensure timely delivery of goods and services as per the contractual terms and conditions and follow up payment of services providers
- Maintain and update suppliers’ accounts information.
- Maintain and archive records of the procurement and disposal process.
- Review transaction files and ensure they contain all relevant document.
- Prepares documentation for contract committee meetings.
- Participate in the preparation and generation of the department’s budget, and workplan.
- Prepare and submit timely accountability for resources.
- Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
