The position reports directly to Finance Manager.
Role of the Job:
To ensure proper financial reporting to external stakeholders in line with the accounting policy and regulatory requirements.
Key Result Areas:
- Preparation & submission of regulatory and statutory reports
- General ledger reconciliation
- Grant Management.
- Fixed Assets Management
- Management of IFRS 16 model
- Data Collection & Validation for the IFRS9 model
- Monthly Corporation Tax Assessment
- Revenue Assurance for other incomes and Arrangement fees of Loans and Advances
- Supervision of Accountants
- Providing financial information to all stakeholders
- Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.
Minimum qualification requirements and Personal attributes for this position:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least Level 3 CPA, ACCA.
- Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position in a busy profit oriented Organisation
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge of prevailing International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Knowledge of Banking Systems.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent computer & Excel skills
- Good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Attentiveness to detail.
