Justification
The Radiography Officers will support and coordinate TB screening activities at health facilities and communities using chest radiography. The officers will coordinate operations of the portable digital X-ray machines stationed at the 5 beneficiary health facilities to screen eligible patients for TB. The officers will also coordinate TB screening outreach activities using the mobile X-ray TB screening clinics in communities at increased risk of TB. The officer will support capacity building, promote utilization, and monitor implementation of radiology services for TB diagnosis.
The radiology officer will work in collaboration with Active TB Case Finding, Laboratory and Community team at the NTLP and districts, as well as implementing partners in the regions to identify/mobilize target facilities/ communities for Xray screening and linkage of diagnosed TB patients in care.
