Watoto is seeking to recruit a nurse to support with day-to-day clinical activities within Watoto Clinics. Key Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to.
- To participate in daily clinical rounds and perform daily nursing duties as allocated by the Nurse Supervisor, including but not limited to attending appointments and working with isolated
- To ensure that clinical issues are promptly resolved, prioritising on what is best for the health and well-being of the babies within the
- To ensure that Infections are identified and contained early, with clear instructions given about pertinent infection
- To participate in infants’ feed calculations and nutritional management of those with malnutrition, under the guidance of the Nurse Supervisor.
- To maintain an up-to-date medical records and provide Clinical updates regarding infants to the Nurse
- To participate in health programmes within and outside Watoto as and when a need
Qualifications, Skills and Experience.
- The applicant for the role should hold at least a Diploma in
- just be a registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives
- At least two years’ experience in paediatric
- Good inter-personal skills and ability to relate well to children of all
- Passionate about community health care with ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to working within standardized guidelines of Nursing care
