HORIZONT3000 is an Austrian NGO working in the area of development cooperation. With the mandate of our member organisations of the catholic development sector, we specialize in the monitoring and implementation of projects as well as provision of experts in low income countries
Thematically, HORIZONT3000 focuses on three sectors: Civil Society and Human Rights, Rural Development and Natural Resources Management, and Education. Gender and Environmental Protection are cross-cutting issues.
HORIZONT3000 aims at targeting the most vulnerable population groups, such as smallholders, women, children and youth, human rights groups as well as indigenous population.
Through its presence in the 2 regional and 2 country offices around the world, HORIZONT3000 is closer to its local partner organizations and beneficiaries.
