Job Title: Engineer CS Core Network Planning
Reporting to: Senior Consultant Core Network Planning
Division – Technology
No. of Vacancies: 1
Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
- Facilitate performance monitoring of MTNs Core nodes, by producing and interpreting performance reports.
- Timeously recommend capacity upgrades and reallocations based on Traffic, technologies in the market, customer requirements and MTN Uganda’s business plans.
- Take on the role of Technical lead for CS Core projects participating in design, implementation, acceptance and handover.
Main Job Functions:

Qualifications
Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education:
- BSc Electrical Engineering / BSc Telecommunications Engineering
- Additional qualification e.g. Masters/Postgraduate diploma etc are an added advantage
Experience:
- 1 years’ experience in a Telecommunications Network planning role
Competencies:
Training
- Proficiency in the use of Windows and productivity packages (MS Office) – Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Projects
- Individual should be innovative, results-oriented and able to work long hours under pressure
- Willing to learn and unlearn concepts in CS Core systems
