The key purpose of this role is to safely operate and maintain brewing processes in order to achieve optimal effectiveness in line with our VPO standards.
Key outputs and responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Interpret and implement production plan for shift
- Operate manual and automatic machines as per standards
- Monitor production processes on shift and apply the required reaction plans
- Execute ATO activities adequately
- Complete all the required shift documentation including all the Operator work station and team room updates timely
- Contribute to self and team development
- Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplace
- Operate and control the process according to the SOPs
- Manage quality at source
- Do problem solving for deviations from specifications arising during the shift using the 5 WHYs and QFR’s as per triggers
- Contribute towards AB reports as shall be required
- Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time

Profile:
Education and Experience:
- BSc in industrial chemistry, food science and technology, industrial engineering, chemical engineering or any related course.
- Higher diploma or minimum diploma in Mechanical and electrical engineering, physical sciences or related course
- At least 1 years working experience preferably in Foods and Beverages Industry
