Job Description
To resolve claims efficiently and fairly in a manner that promotes the company’s brand values and provide consistently high standard of customer service across the whole organization especially at the point of contact with customers.
- Registering all claims as they come in for processing.
- Investigating the nature of the claims where necessary and determining insurance policy coverage and reserving.
- Working closely with the other team members including legal consultants and escalating matters as appropriate within timelines.
- Maintenance of proper records with details of the claims processed, paid and outstanding.
- Analysing the Net Client Cash Flow for pensions
- Providing weekly and monthly claims reports for management consideration.
- Notification to Business Analyst in respect to recoveries.
- Follow up to obtain full documentation pertaining claims
- Follow up of all claims to ensure timely payments
- Follow up of Discharge vouchers sent to corporate clients
- Coordinate review meetings with both clients and company to monitor services
- Undertake any other duties as required commensurate with the level of the position.
- Analyse claims and prepare appropriate response in line with with policies, procedures and standards.
- Follow standard procedure to assess and finalise claims in line with M&F standards – Update log ¿ Update broker ¿ Finalise on BPM and financial system
- Keep broker informed at all times in terms of progress of claim
- Build positive customer relations and solve or escalate customer queries and complaints
- Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and provide reporting and analysis.
- Continuously strive to enhance and improve the claims processes.
- Identify and report on claims process issues.
