Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients in order to understand care requirements.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
- Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies
- Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
- Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
- Performs any other Assignments imposed by Management.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
