Key duties and responsibilities

Manage all matters concerning the students, hygiene, welfare and discipline.
� Provide confidential counselling and guidance to the student.

� Coordinate with the school nurse to provide appropriate medical attention to students.

� To maintain general hygiene with the dormitories.

� Coordinate with security team to ensure security and safety of students and equipment at all times.

Person specification

A Diploma in Social Development, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing etc.

� Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Boarding House Matron, or in a similar role in an educational setting.

� Knowledge and skills in administering First Aid.

� Demonstrable knowledge and competency may substitute experience.
