Department: Network Asset Management (Engineering)
Job Purpose:
The Technician role is a key role in the Umeme Network Operations. The role supports the execution of various electrical engineering works including timely resolution of network faults, execution of network maintenance works, installation & resolution of meter anomalies, meter audits, and all other electrical works assigned to ensure constant electricity power supply to the customers. The Technician performs switching operations & ensures safe & appropriate electrical network operations within areas of operations
Required Qualifications:
• At least an Ordinary Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
