African Initiative for Relief & Development (AIRD) was founded in 2006 and is a non-political, non-religious and – profit making INGO with Country Program Offices in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Uganda. AIRD is involved in emergency and development humanitarian relief services and is one of the major implementing partners of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Office of The Prime Minister Refugee Department.
AIRD’s main objective is to offer operational support, including but not limited to: Supply chain, logistics, infrastructure, environment, livelihoods and WASH in partnership with relief and development organizations that focus on disaster affected and development oriented areas.
