Wellsite Geologists

Duties & Responsibilities
Job holder will co-coordinate and conduct on the field all the geological operations including but not limited to cuttings description, data acquisitions and follow-up of contractor’s performance for services such as Mudlogging, Electrical Logging and Logging While Drilling. Job holder role will be to deliver reliable and fit for purpose data with a high impact on operational excellence and Safety through proper prediction and evaluation of the geological hazards.
Context and environment
Candidate profile
- Bachelors of Geology or other Geosciences disciplines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multi-cultural environment
- Practical experience in the field is an added advantage (particularly candidates getting an internationally recognized certification)
- Willingness to learn and share, adaptability, rigor and pro-activity are critical behaviors required for the position
- Proficient in MS Office
SELECTION PROCESS
Shortlisted candidates will go through various assessments including panel interviews, technical and aptitude tests. After completion of this process, only selected candidates will be retained to undergo an intensive training program abroad including some training on the field, except potential candidates already certified. This training period will be done under a probation status and final selection will be based on performance of the candidates.
