Job Purpose:
The Contract Technician role is a key role in the Umeme Network Operations.
The role supports the execution of various electrical engineering works including timely resolution of network faults, execution of network maintenance works, installation and resolution of meter anomalies and meter audits. Ensure constant electricity power supply to the customers.
The Technician performs switching operations, ensures safe and appropriate electrical network operations within areas of operations.
Required Qualifications:
• At least an Ordinary Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• At least two (2) years experience in Fast Paced Engineering Environment.
• Knowledge of pole climbing is a MUST.
