CiplaQCIL is looking for professionally confident, self-motivated individual, who is also a committed team player to reinforce its capacity by filling the following vacant position:
Environmental, Health & Safety Officer (01)
Reports to Environmental, Health & Safety Head
The main roles include:
a) Conduct company EHS inspections and Audits
b) Ensure adherence and compliance with company safety standards and statutory
requirements
c) Identify, organize and coordinate training sessions and meetings on EHS practices and
regulations
d) Support plant external Contractor activities in line with EHS standard requirements
e) Conduct and coordinate incident investigations and reporting
f) Review all quality functions and procedures for appropriateness and validity in relation to EHS
g) Participate in routine housekeeping to ensure maximum hygiene and environmental
standards
Skills and Qualifications
i) Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
ii) At least two (02) years of work experience in a similar position in an industrial/ manufacturing environment
iii) Detailed knowledge with the applicable laws, regulations, guidelines & code of practices
iv)High degree of flexibility and ability to work at any time, even beyond normal working hours when duty calls
v) NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational health & Safety is an added advantage
